Here is a very cool Westone Thunder I guitar, made in the famous Matsumoku factory in Japan.(The Spectrum DX was numbered X140, but instead of being an updated S-S-S, the DX was really an H-H like the X135 with the upgraded hardware of an X189.) X140 is one of the few model numbers to be used by two different models- confusingly the number returned to use in 1985 after the Electra Phoenix had been renamed the Westone Spectrum.It's from 1991 and was part of a very small run of Dan Armstrong-designed guitars from 1989-1991. It's a Dan Armstrong III and is extremely rare. This is a very cool and rare, Dan Armstrong designed Westone solid body electric guitar. Leading in quality and excellence of electric, acoustic, bass, and classical guitars since 1965.
